You all keep telling me Frenchies are rude but I am just not believing it!
So i got back to the airport today… walked down the road and… the car was there! Also it hadnt been broken into! Great success!
I am feeling a bit dodgy about the whole thing and while I was packing my things a guy came over and talked to me, he owned a business about 100 meters away. He basically said it is a very dangerous area, the police had been cruising past checking the car out and if I ever flew again, I was free to park the car inside his lot! Who says the French arnt nice? How about the guy who helped us at the petrol station? It was Sunday, we had no fuel and they only had automated petrol pumps…. and our credit cards wouldnt work… so we asked the Frenchie guy filling up his Renault if we could give him 20 euros and we used 20 euros from his credit card… and he agreed! Thats awesome. Im all with you frenchie people, I had an awesome time in your country and you sure do know how to bake a chocolate croissant. Good times!
