Louis Zezeran – Comedian
Stand Up
I get on stage and tell the jokes. It has been almost 7 years now and still I only just discovering what it means to be a Stand Up. Not enough dick jokes I guess. I perform a lot as a host and I love it cause I can interact with the audience and really share a fun night with them. In 2013 the Estonian Army sent myself, Stewart and Andy to Afghanistan to perform for the troops there which was pretty wild.
All this comedy stuff has become my life now, we have small business for it which even employs a few people. People ask why do I live in Estonia, well this is it. The chance to grow a new art form and encourage funny people to get up and have a go is pretty sweet.
Comedy Guy Podcast
Comedy Guy with Louis Zezeran is my new podcast where I talk to friends of mine in the entertainment industry and ask “ok so this is how comedy works, how does your artform work?”. I also talk to our comedians and talk a bunch of shit.
I like this podcast because I can have long, unedited, interesting talks with interesting people.
The podcast is here and you can find it on Apple, Google, Spotify (i think..) and all your favorite podcast apps. Just google my name, you will find it.
Comedy Estonia
In 2010 my friends and I founded “Comedy Estonia”, producing the first Stand Up shows in Estonia. Since then we have promoted International stars like Eddie Izzard, Dylan Moran, Bill Bailey and Jimmy Carr, run regular clubs and developed local talent in English and Estonian.
We also branched out into the neighboring countries and run Comedy Finland and also Comedy Latvia where we are focused on developing local Latvian comedians as well as promoting our English shows.
Writing
I used to write a monthly column for Estonian Cosmopolitan magazine called “Man Thinks”. Again people ask me, why do I live in Estonia? Cause I get to do cool shit like write down my dumb jokes for Cosmo. Booyah.

Acting and Hosting Private Events
It’s pretty cool when you get to do what you love as a job. I regularly perform Stand Up at private parties and also act as evening’s host. I really like being the host of the evening, it’s like being a big party instructor making sure everyone has fun AND I often get free beer.
I also record voice overs and do acting work. I was the face of the “Work in Estonia” campaign and there is that tupac style hologram of me at Tallinn airport. I was the “Foster’s No Worries Ambassador” in Finland and also have a significant part in the second series of “Kimmo” on YLE2. I had a crazy fantastic time at Eurovision 2016 in Stockholm when I was the channel host for the Azerbaijan entry “Samra” and back in Estonia I often get called into do the voice for company ads when they get sick of British and American accents.
If you would like to hire me for an event in Estonia, Latvia or Finland, drop me an email.
